We don't recommend cheating Risk of Rain 2 unless you've enjoyed the game as it is meant to be played. This post is for fun and educational purposes only. If that's what you're after, here is how to unlock absolutely everything in Risk of Rain 2.

Open your save file

1. Make sure the game is closed
2. Open your Steam userdata folder (usually at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata)
3. Open the most recently modified folder, it will be all numbers (usually there is only one)
4. Open the 632360 folder, this is the Risk of Rain 2 folder
5. Open remote, then UserProfiles
6. Open the XML document in any text editor. This is your save file!

Lunar Coins Cheat

1. Open your save file, as described above
2. Search for <coins>and you will find a section that lists how many lunar coins you have (ex. <coins>17</coins>)
3. Change the number to how many Lunar coins you want!
4. Save your changes and you're ready to open the game.

Unlock All Characters, Abilities and Items

1. Open your save file, as described above
2. Search for <achievementsList> and you will find a section that lists all the achievements you have unlocked
3. Remove or add achievements as you like. Note: they are case sensitive.
4. If you want everything unlocked, replace the text between <achievementsList> and </achievementsList> with the achievement list at the end of the article
5. Save your changes
