Choosing builds according to your style is important.

Each build has its own speciality but most are best with each other,so you must choose carefully.

Anyway,Valhein has low health so movement talents are needed to escape or to get in a suitable range.

Different builds suits different gaming style. You may also combine the builds to suit your gaming style.

Here are three builds that are usually used by players:

Critical Build: Based on critical damage,best with high attack rate. Usually used by players who plays sustainable damage. With high attack rate it brings more chance to critical hit. 

Claves Slancti is important to increase critical rate and damage in this build.  

Gaming Style: Based on Pocket Gaive to give heavy critical hits

*Marksmen Gear

Magic Build: Based on magic damage,best with high critical rate. Usually used by players who plays damage burst. With high critical rate it can increase the burst damage.      

Hecates Diadem is important to increase magical damage with its passive in this build.

Gaming Style: Using Bullet Storm in close range to dish out tons of damage

*Mage Gear

Extra Damage Build: Based on extra damage,best with high magic damage. Usually used by players who plays damage burst. With high magic damage it can increase the burst damage.       

Blitz Blade is important to increase extra damage with its passive

Gaming Style: Using normal attack after using skills to deal tons extra damage

*Mage Gear

For me,my gear is based on magic damage but also has a bit of critical gear with no extra damage.
